Here are some common questions about the Gallup/Mason Student Well-Being Survey.

1. Who is eligible to participate?

All current undergraduate students of George Mason University (enrolled in a class for Spring 2017) are eligible to participate in the survey.

2. How will this help me to be successful at Mason?

The Gallup/Mason Student Well-Being Survey provides invaluable data to a network of administrators, faculty, staff, and peer leaders who are working to help you succeed and to help Mason become a model well-being university. The university will receive a written report from The Gallup Organization (the organization administering the survey) summarizing the data and analyzing the data along with written recommendations for the institution so that we can continue to enhance programmatic and service efforts on well-being and engagement.

Through this process, Mason will be able to better serve and help you and other students in not only your college lives, but also in your future endeavors.

3. How do we use information from the Gallup/Mason Student Well-Being Survey?

The Gallup Organization (the organization administering the survey) collects all of the data, then analyzes it, providing recommendations for the institution so that we can continue to enhance programmatic and service efforts on well-being and engagement.

We are also able to compare survey responses over time to see changes in students’ experiences at Mason. Your feedback helps us develop new programs and deliver better services to meet the needs of Mason students.
