Spring Into Well-Being Calendar of Events
Please join us for one of the many (over 100!) well-being events happening across Mason that are part of this year’s Spring into Well-Being celebration.
Spring into Well-Being (SIWB) celebrates the Mason community’s commitment to well-being by highlighting awareness and educational programs and events hosted by units, departments, and student organizations across the University. Together they help support Mason’s strategic goal of becoming a well-being university.
This year’s Spring Into Well-Being programming runs from Monday, March 20 – Friday, April 28.
April 24 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Building on the community developed through the WBU Reading Group, we will meet for lunchtime conversation and community on five Mondays during SIWB. Sessions are stand-alone conversations, but we can build more community by returning each week. Prior participation in a WBU Reading Group is not required. Participants will have completed short readings in advance and/or view relevant Ted Talks together in order to better understand the domains of well-being and/or components of Mason’s definition of well-being to include vitality, purpose, resilience, and/or engagement. This is an opportunity to learn, discuss, and explore together through shared conversation.
Don’t see your event listed and want to be added? Please email Jessica Viricochea at firstname.lastname@example.org with your event details and she will add you to the Spring Into Well-Being Calendar.
